Tomato and Cashew Cream Sauce

Rich, creamy, and packed with flavour, this tomato and cashew cream sauce is perfect for pasta, grilled chicken, or a vegetable medley.

Once, in a small village, a chef combined the earthiness of cashews with the tang of tomatoes... a match made in heaven...

"Okay, but tell me how much cashew butter are we talking here? Just a big spoonful? YES CHEF!"

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet Yes Chef Rich Red Tomato Recipe Base (30g)

  • 1 tbsp cashew butter

  • 30g butter

  • 200ml milk

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm the Yes Chef Rich Red Tomato Recipe Base: Stir the base in a pan over medium heat until warmed through.

  2. Add the 30g of butter and stir until it melts and mixes with the tomato base.

  3. Stir in the 1 tbsp cashew butter and let it dissolve into the sauce for a smooth, creamy texture.

  4. Gradually pour in the 200ml of milk, stirring continuously to keep the sauce smooth and creamy. Allow it to simmer for 3-5 minutes to thicken slightly.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Serve this rich sauce over pasta, grilled chicken, or your favorite vegetables for a comforting and flavourful meal.
