Macaroni and Cheese Sauce

A creamy, cheesy sauce that's rich and indulgent, perfectly crafted to coat pasta for the ultimate mac & cheese experience.

Legend has it that mac and cheese was invented by a chef who accidentally spilled a pot of melted cheese into a bowl of pasta... The result? A cheesy masterpiece that would become an eternal favourite.

"Alright, alright, no need to drag this out. Just tell me how to make the sauce. YES CHEF!"

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet Yes Chef! Creamy Classic (Béchamel Recipe Base)

  • 50g grated cheddar cheese

  • 250ml cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Gently massage the sachet to ensure a smooth paste.

  2. Mix the béchamel recipe base into the cold cream or milk to prevent any clumps.

  3. Stir in the grated cheddar cheese, mixing until melted and smooth.

  4. Heat gently while stirring, until the sauce reaches a creamy consistency.

  5. Pour over cooked pasta, and maybe a little extra cheese on top for the ultimate indulgence!

 

For extra flair, add a sprinkle of crispy bacon or some breadcrumbs for that perfect finish!
